He appears in the player's town once a day from 6 AM to 12 AM and is easily noticed by the villagers.

How often does Pascal show up ACNH?

Pascal is a red otter that absolutely loves Scallops. If you find a Scallop, he'll appear in the sea nearby, asking you to trade for another item. He'll appear once a day whenever you find your first Scallop while diving.

Why is Pascal not showing up ACNH?

Why Isn't Pascal Showing Up? (Troubleshooting)

Pascal is tied to the Summer Update Wave 1. Make sure that your game is updated to that version or later! While he generally appears when you catch your first scallop of the day, he won't show up if your pockets are full and have to swap out your catch!
