Warts are the most common symptom of HPV infections. For some people, this may mean genital warts. These can appear as flat lesions, tiny stem-like lumps, or as small cauliflower-like bumps. Although they may itch, they generally don't cause pain or discomfort.
Does HPV cause itching?
They may itch but rarely cause pain. These warts appear as darkened areas of the skin with slightly raised, flat tops. They can crop up anywhere on the body. These warts may appear irritated, hard, and grainy.
Do HPV warts always itch?
They're usually painless, but they might itch. If you have warts or red bumps on or around your genitals, your partner has HPV or another STD, or your partner has genital warts, check in with your doctor or nurse or contact your local Planned Parenthood health center.
