Lifespan. It's difficult to predict the average Cavachon lifespan since it is a mixed breed, but in general, you can expect a Cavachon to live between 10 to 15 years.
Do Cavachons have health problems?
As a mixture of two breeds, Cavachons have the potential to develop health conditions that their two parent breeds (and small dogs in general) are more prone to. As a small dog breed, Cavachons are prone to issues like dental disease, eye problems, medial patella luxation, sebaceous adenomas, and collapsing tracheas.
How long do Cavachons live up to?
Cavachons are generally healthier than their parent breeds, but can still develop some of the conditions seen in the pedigree lines; notably, heart and hormonal disorders. Most are expected to life for 11–13 years, though some can live considerably longer, especially if they can avoid these inherited health problems.
