Does Tensorflow Require Gpu?

TensorFlow GPU support requires an assortment of drivers and libraries. To simplify installation and avoid library conflicts, we recommend using a TensorFlow Docker image with GPU support (Linux only). This setup only requires the NVIDIA® GPU drivers.

Does TensorFlow need GPU?

2 Answers. Not 100% certain what you have going on but in short no Tensorflow does not require a GPU and you shouldn't have to build it from source unless you just feel like it.

Can I run TensorFlow without GPU?

Create a virtual environment (recommended), and select Conda. This is the TensorFlow Windows package, for Python 3.6 and CPU only (since you don't have a Nvidia GPU).
