VHT FlameProof coatings require no primer. For most economical use of VHT FlameProof colors on ”hard to hide” surfaces, apply a thin coat of VHT FlameProof White or VHT FlameProof Silver base coating. VHT Flameproof Coating only attains its unique properties after correct curing.

Does VHT paint need primer?

Do you have to heat VHT paint?

VHT Flame-proof paints require the user to cure the paint by applying heat in a baking style. If you are applying the paint to an object that you've removed from the vehicle: (1) Let paint dry completely. (2) Heat to 250°F for 30 minutes.
