If your bubble mailer is considered an envelope and weighs 1 ounce or less, you can slap a $0.55 forever stamp on your mailer and drop it off at your post office as usual. If your bubble mailer is considered a package, you'll choose between USPS First Class, USPS Retail Ground, Priority Mail and Media Mail.

Where does a stamp go on a bubble mailer?

Place the bubble mailer on a scale capable of measuring ounces. Record the weight of the bubble mailer. Consult the United States Postal Service's price list for large envelopes (see Resources). Affix the appropriate amount of stamps to the upper-right corner of the bubble mailer.

Do mailers need stamps?

For a standard letter: If you are mailing a standard letter, one Forever Stamp or one First Class Letter stamp at the top right corner of an envelope can be used. If the size of the letter is of the standard size, then a Forever stamp is sufficient for mailing within the United States.
