Is Fareham beach sandy?

I love this beach, which I run along to the Breezes from the beach huts, and then up 3 corners of Chilling Fields towards Titchfield. or the other way! Which ever, the beach is not sandy,and you have to be carefulot not to be too close to the cliffs, as they could fall!
