Where is SAN disk in Linux?

Re: How to find the local disks and SAN disks in linux

Another way is to examine the /sys filesystem. To know how e.g. /dev/sda is connected to the system, run “ls -l /sys/block/sda”. There is a symlink “device” and the long directory listing tells you where the symlink points to.

How do I check my SAN storage?

The way to do this is to go in to Device Manger, Select Disk Drives. All disk devices will be listed. Anything which is SAN attached will be prefixed with “Multi-Path Disk device”. All other devices will be local.
