Windows 10 How-To: Reset or Refresh your Windows 10 installation for better performance
- Head to Start then go to Settings.
- Head into Update & security.
- On the left, head into Recovery.
- Under reset this PC, click Get Started.
- Click what method you want to perform.
Boot to advanced startup options.
- Click/tap on Troubleshoot. (

- Click/tap on Keep my files. (
- If prompted to Insert Media, you will need to insert your Windows 10 installation media or recovery drive to continue. (
