Share a map or location

• On your Android phone or tablet, open the Google Maps app .
• Search for a place. Or, find a place on the map, then touch and hold to drop a pin.
• At the bottom, tap the place’s name or address.
• Tap Share .
• Choose the app where you want to share the link to the map.

1. If you haven’t already, add their Gmail address to your Google Contacts.
2. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Google Maps app and sign in.
3. Tap Menu Location sharing Add people .
4. Choose how long you want to share your location.
5. Tap Select People.
6. Choose who you want to share with.
