How do I view two files side by side in Linux?
sdiff command in linux is used to compare two files and then writes the results to standard output in a side-by-side format. It displays each line of the two files with a series of spaces between them if the lines are identical.

View and compare documents side by side
- Open both of the files that you want to compare.
- On the View tab, in the Window group, click View Side by Side. Notes: To scroll both documents at the same time, click Synchronous Scrolling. in the Window group on the View tab.
