How do I run a .sh file in Linux?

GUI method to run . sh file

1. Select the file using mouse.
2. Right-click on the file.
3. Choose Properties:
4. Click Permissions tab.
5. Select Allow executing file as a program:
6. Now click the file name and you will be prompted. Select “Run in the terminal” and it will get executed in the terminal.

How do you run a script?

You can run a script from a Windows shortcut.

1. Create a shortcut for Analytics.
2. Right-click the shortcut and select Properties.
3. In the Target field, enter the appropriate command line syntax (see above).
4. Click OK.
5. Double-click the shortcut to run the script.
