Method 1 Clear the Data
- Go to “Settings.” Navigate through your home screen and find the icon that looks like a gear.
- Select “Application Manager.”
- Tap “All.”
- Select “Messages.”
- Tap on “Clear data.”
How do I get rid of Facebook notifications on my Android?
Open Facebook for Android on your device, open the in-app menu and select Settings. Scroll down to find the Notification option in there. If you would like to disable all the notifications from the app (comments, wall posts, messages, etc.) simply uncheck that option.
