How do I uninstall a certificate?

Click ‘Advanced settings’ to see all options.In the section ‘Privacy and security’ click on ‘Manage certificates’. On the “Personal” tab, your expired electronic certificate should appear. Select the one you want to delete and click “Remove”.

Do I need to remove expired certificates?

Revoking is essentially useless as the certificates are expired. Revocation is for time valid certificates that must be terminated prior to their expiration date. It is technically possible to delete expired certificates but just make sure you will never want to check if they were issued in the past.
