Here’s how you configure a hotspot connection on Android:
- Open the Settings app.
- Select the Network & Internet option.
- Select Hotspot & tethering.
- Tap on Wi-Fi hotspot.

How do I set up mobile hotspot?
Apple iOS
- Go to Settings.
- Choose Cellular.
- Tap on Set Up Personal Hotspot.
- Go to Settings.
- Choose Personal Hotspot.
- Tap the button to turn your personal hotspot on.
- Agree to Wi-Fi and USB Only.
- Your hotspot is now active. The password is on your iPhone’s screen.
Can I use my own hotspot on my phone?
A hotspot is when your phone essentially creates a wifi network that devices can connect to with a password. Your phone will work (run off) your phone which will allow others to use your phones data connection. Your phone will work as normal, and has access to the cellular service without accessing the HotSpot.
