Fix problems with sync
- On your Android phone or tablet, open the Chrome app .
- To the right of the address bar, tap More Settings.
- At the top, tap your name.
- Tap Sync.
- Turn off Sync.
- Open the Settings app .
- Tap Apps & notifications Chrome.
- Tap Force stop OK.
How do you turn sync on Android?
Turn off auto-sync
- Open your device’s Settings app .
- Tap Accounts. If you don’t see “Accounts,” tap Users & accounts.
- If you have more than one account on your device, tap the one you want.
- Tap Account sync.
- Turn off the apps you don’t want to auto-sync.
