Set up Google Voice on iPhone
- If you don’t have the Google Voice app, download it from the App Store.
- Open Google Voice and sign-in, or select, your Google account.
- Tap Search to select a phone number to use.
- Tap Select when you choose your number, and then tap Next to confirm the phone number you selected.

- On your Android phone or tablet, open the Hangouts app .
- At the top, tap Menu Settings.
- Tap the Google Account that you use with Google Voice.
- Under the “Google Voice” section, check or uncheck “Incoming phone calls.”

Turn off your phone’s voicemail
- On your computer, open Google Voice.
- At the top left, open Menu Legacy Google Voice.
- At the top right, open Settings Settings.
- Click the “Phones” tab.
- Under your forwarding phone, click Activate Google voicemail on this phone.
- Follow the instructions to turn on Google voicemail.
