Share a map or location
- On your Android phone or tablet, open the Google Maps app .
- Search for a place. Or, find a place on the map, then touch and hold to drop a pin.
- At the bottom, tap the place’s name or address.
- Tap Share .
- Choose the app where you want to share the link to the map.
How do I share my location on Android phone?
If they have a Google Account
- If you haven’t already, add their Gmail address to your Google Contacts.
- On your Android phone or tablet, open the Google Maps app and sign in.
- Tap Menu Location sharing Add people .
- Choose how long you want to share your location.
- Tap Select People.
- Choose who you want to share with.
How do I send my location on Samsung?
Enter Google Maps and find the location you want, then press and hold on the area of the map which you wish to send. The Google maps red “pin” icon will drop onto the map, with the address below. Tap the address and the “save” or “share” options will become available.
