Where is my alias file in Linux?
Aliases allow you to define new commands by substituting a string for the first token of a simple command. They are typically placed in the ~/. bashrc (bash) or ~/. tcshrc (tcsh) startup files so that they are available to interactive subshells.
Where is Alias set?
The only reliable way of finding where the alias could have been defined is by analyzing the list of files opened by bash using dtruss. $ csrutil status System Integrity Protection status: enabled. you won’t be able to open bash and you may need a copy.
