Steps
- Open the Downloads app. It’s a white cloud icon with an arrow on a blue background.
- Tap ☰. It’s at the top-left corner of the screen.
- Tap the folder with the file you want to move. This opens the contents of the folder.
- Tap the file you want to move.
- Tap ⁝.
- Tap Move to….
- Tap the destination.
- Tap Move.
Move Apps to SD Card Using Application Manager
- Tap Apps.
- Select an app you want to move to the microSD card.
- Tap Storage.
- Tap Change if it’s there. If you don’t see the Change option, the app cannot be moved.
- Tap Move.
- Navigate to settings on your phone.
- Tap Storage.
- Select your SD card.
Move files by USB
- Unlock your Android device.
- With a USB cable, connect your device to your computer.
- On your device, tap the “USB for” notification.
- Select Transfer files.
- A file transfer window will open on your computer. Use it to drag files.
- When you’re done, eject your device from Windows.
- Unplug the USB cable.
How to move your data from Android to iPhone or iPad with Move to iOS
- Set up your iPhone or iPad until you reach the screen titled “Apps & Data”.
- Tap “Move Data from Android” option.
- On your Android phone or tablet, open the Google Play Store and search for Move to iOS.

How to use it
- Download the app.
- Open AndroidFileTransfer.dmg.
- Drag Android File Transfer to Applications.

- Double click Android File Transfer.
- Browse the files and folders on your Android device and copy files.
