Android Auto’s forced DnD mode mutes all the voice notifications while driving, it even mutes voice navication, so user have to take his/her eyes off the road and onto the phone screen to see where to turn next. This is making Android Auto more dangerous to use, rather making easy while driving.
How do you stop Android Auto from turning on Do Not Disturb?
Procedure
- Tap Settings.
- Tap Sound.
- Tap Do not disturb.
- Tap Automatic rules. Note: On Android Pie, tap Turn on automatically or confirm it says Never.
- Tap on Weekend, Weeknight, or Event. Note: On Android Pie, tap Sleep or Event.
- Swipe the toggle to the left in the top right corner to set as Off.
Does Android turn on Do Not Disturb?
To turn Do Not Disturb on or off, swipe down from the top of your screen. Then tap Do Not Disturb .
