Google today is responding to parents’ demand for a better way for their children to interact with technology with the launch of the new “Google Kids Space,” a dedicated kids mode on Android tablets which will aggregate apps, books and videos for kids to enjoy and learn from.

To set up parental controls, open the Play Store app and go to Settings > Parental Controls, then toggle the switch to On. You’ll now be prompted to set up a new four-digit PIN. Next, go through each type of content and set an age limit, or activate the explicit filter, and hit Save when you’re done.
Is there a parental control for Android?
Once in Google Play, tap the dropdown menu in the upper left corner of your screen, and select the Settings menu.
