iPadOS 15 is compatible with the iPad mini 4 and later, iPad Air 2 and later, iPad 5th generation and later, and all iPad Pro models, and will be released this fall.

Will iPad 5th Gen get iOS 15?

Much like the iOS 15 update for iPhones, any iPads that support iPadOS 14 will be able to upgrade to iPadOS 15. This includes: iPad Pro 12.9-inch (first generation through fifth generation) iPad Pro 11-inch (first generation through third generation)

Is iPad 5th generation still supported?

A new report claims iOS 15 won’t support the iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, iPhone SE (1st generation), iPad (5th generation), iPad mini 4, or iPad Air 2.
