Can Chromebooks run all Android apps?
Nearly all Chromebooks launched in or after 2019 support Android apps and already have the Google Play Store enabled — there’s nothing you need to do. However, there are models new and old that simply can’t run Android apps due to hardware limitations.
How do I know if my Chromebook supports Android apps?
Check if your Chromebook supports the Google Play Store on your device:
- Turn your Chromebook on and log in.
- Click on the status bar in the bottom-right corner of the user interface.
- Click on the Settings cog.
- Select Apps.
- If your Chromebook supports the Google Play Store, you will see a Google Play Store option.
