How to update drivers using Device Manager
- Open Start.
- Search for Device Manager, click the top result to open the experience.
- Expand the category with the hardware you want to update.
- Right-click the device, and select Update Driver.
- Click the Search automatically for updated driver software option.
How do you update your drivers on Windows 8?
To check that automatic updating is on
- Swipe in from the right edge of the screen, tap Settings, and then tap Change PC settings.
- Tap or click Update and recovery, and then tap or click Windows Update.
- Tap or click Choose how updates get installed.
