Install Steam from Ubuntu package repository
- Confirm that the multiverse Ubuntu repository is enabled: $ sudo add-apt-repository multiverse $ sudo apt update.
- Install Steam package: $ sudo apt install steam.
- Use your desktop menu to start Steam or alternatively execute the following command: $ steam.
