How do I keep my contacts separate?
If you want to keep your contacts separate, then use the Google Voice website, which only sees your Google Contacts. An option in your phone contacts is to choose which account to show numbers from. You would need to switch back and forth between Phone contacts, and Google contacts when viewing each set of contacts.
How do I stop my Android from syncing contacts?
To stop Google contacts from automatically syncing:
- On your Android phone or tablet, open your Settings.
- Tap Google Settings for Google apps Google Contacts sync Status.
- Turn off Automatically sync.
