Masonry neutralizer or concrete neutralizer removes acid from walls so that the paint does not peel off. It is normally used on newly plastered concrete or after etching.

Is concrete neutralizer harmful?

Harmful if swallowed. Exposure to mist, vapors or fumes should be minimized. PERSONAL PROTECTION: When applying paint, it is advisable to wear safety glasses, long sleeves and gloves. Use adequate respirators as inhalation of mist may produce respiratory irritation.

DILUTION : Mix one (1) gallon of Island Concrete Neutralizer with sixteen to twenty (16-20) gallons of clean water. Apply the diluted solution with brush, roller or mop over the masonry surface until completely wetted. After overnight standing, brush-off any loose whitish residues that form on the surface.
