Can You Move Eremurus?

If your eremurus become crowded and need to be divided, do it in late summer or early fall. Go slowly, taking extra care not to damage the brittle roots. Gently tease the crowns apart and replant them so the crown is only an inch or two below the soil surface.

How do you transplant Eremurus?

When planting Eremurus bulbs, dig a wide hole, enrich with compost or other organic matter and create a mound in the center to hold the bud, pointed end up, at a depth of 2-3 inches. Carefully spread the roots around the mound and cover well.

What to do with Eremurus after flowering?

Deadhead plants just after the flowers have faded, or allow to self-seed around the garden. There's mo need to dig up the crowns in autumn, but do avoid mulching the crown as this can cause it to rot.
