Powdered and pre-mixed grout expires one year after manufacture. If the grout container has been opened, it will expire 6 months after opening. The only type of grout that will not expire is epoxy grout. As long as it is kept above freezing temperatures, unopened epoxy grout will not go bad.
What is the shelf life of sanded grout?
Grout has a shelf life of about one year from day of manufacture if it's unopened and store correctly. Once it's opened it may be OK to use for several weeks or so.
