It's usual to take pantoprazole once a day, first thing in the morning. If you take pantoprazole twice a day, take 1 dose in the morning and 1 dose in the evening. It's best to take pantoprazole an hour before a meal. Swallow tablets whole with a drink of water.
Can I take Prazole plus after eating?
Pantoprazole can be taken before or after food, although taking it before food is preferable. If you forget to take a dose at your usual time, you can take it when you remember (unless it is nearly time for your next dose, in which case leave out the missed dose).
