No he can't. He is not worthy and has no connection to Mjolnir. Vision could lift it becuase he was in part created by it. Hela could stop it because she is of the first born of Odin and harness some of the same power he does.

Can Thanos wield Mjolnir?

As of yet, Thanos is unable to lift Mjolnir because the Hammer would certainly not consider him to be worthy. Still, Thor's recent nightmare suggested that it might happen in the future, so we'll have to wait and see whether Thanos will lift Mjolnir or not.

How could Thanos hold Thor's hammer?

He can reverse time via the Time Stone, travel vast distances with the Space Stone, and change reality itself with the Reality Stone. With the gauntlet, it stands to reason that Thanos could simply alter reality to allow himself to pick up Mjolnir if he felt like it, inscriptions be damned.
