Teams offers a whole range of features, from online chat, meeting scheduling and of course, presentations. When using the presentation feature, you can share your screen with others present in the meeting – the attendees. Whilst you are using this feature, your status will display 'Presenting'.
What does to presenter mean on Microsoft teams?
Microsoft Teams now supports roles for meetings. You can assign the presenter role to specific participants, who then have rights to present and other actions, like recording the meeting. Everyone who's not a presenter is an attendee.
Do teams messages show up when presenting?
Windows / Teams recognizes the presentation mode and turns off all notifications including emails / meetings etc. because of which I missed many meetings. I heard the same from few of my colleagues as well, I could not find an option to override disabling notifications while on presentation mode.
