Should + Present Perfect?

Should + Present Perfect?

"You should have done" is not the Present Perfect tense. You don't say "She should has done", for that matter. "Should" is a modal verb and must be followed by a bare infinitive. The bare infinitive can be present ("You should do") or perfect / past ("You should have done").

Is should have present perfect tense?

2: We can also use should have + past participle to talk about something that, if everything is normal and okay, we think has already happened. But we're not certain that everything is fine, so we use 'should have' and not the present perfect or past simple.

When I should use present perfect?

The present perfect is often used for an action that started at some time in the past and is still continuing now. In this case, the words for (with a length or period of time) and since (with a specific starting time) are usually used with the present perfect.
