Gulliver, the ship-wrecked seagull, will wash up on your shores randomly in Animal Crossing: New Horizons on Switch. After discovering him on your beach, he'll ask you to find five Communicator Parts for his smartphone, so he can contact his friends to come pick him up.

Gulliver can be found washed up ashore on your island's beaches in Animal Crossing: New Horizons on random days starting from 5AM until the beginning of the next day. Unfortunately, there's no way to predict when he will show up, but we tend to find him once every 1 or 2 weeks.

Does Gulliver ever leave?

Gulliver and his spaceship then disappear the next time the game is played. It should be noted that he does say to the player that he hopes they will see him off the next morning, even though he leaves the next time the game is played.
