Bismuth is one of the original and current members of the Crystal Gems. Before the end of the Rebellion, she and Rose Quartz had a conflict of interests, leading to them falling out. This ultimately led to Bismuth being poofed, bubbled, and left inside of the Pink Dimension.

Pink Diamond was shattered before Bismuth was bubbled. Rose saw Bismuth use the Breaking Point to kill Pink Diamond, and was forced to bubble Bismuth. Rose never told the other Crystal Gems what happened to Bismuth because she didn't want them to remember their friend that way.
