Does Shalimar Smell Good?

Shalimar is one of the best selling perfumes ever and its magic is undeniable. Perfume is composed of citrus notes; lemon and bergamot, jasmine, may rose, opoponax, Tonka bean, vanilla, iris, Peru balsam and gray amber. The coolness of the citrus notes lead to a floral heart ending with a warm and luxurious trail.

What does Shalimar perfume smell like?

Scent. The fragrance contains notes of bergamot, lemon, iris, jasmine, rose, patchouli, vetiver, opopanax, tonka bean, frankincense, sandalwood, musk, civet, ambergris, leather, and vanilla. It is considered to be an Oriental perfume (see Fragrance Wheel).

How long does Shalimar last?

Longevity would be around four to eight hours. Shalimar really is well made given the "story" the perfume tells, there's no flatness to it, but a complete mystery, only appreciated by a select few.
