The features and quality are great for the price a lot more comfortable than the department issued vest and greater mobility all around. Haven't had any back issues since I started wearing the Banshee 3.0 like my old condor vest that was issued. Definitely recommend the purchase.

Is Shellback Tactical a good plate carrier?

The Shellback Defender is backed with a lifetime warranty. A plate inside its pocket. One thing I really like about this carrier is that since it rides hide on my chest, it doesn't get in the way of anything on my belt. I can comfortably reach my Leatherman and my sidearm on my everyday gun belt.
