Conures mimic human speech like larger parrots, but most jendays don't typically "speak." That doesn't mean they're not entertaining, though. Many pet jendays learn to repeat everyday household noises such as telephones and microwaves. A flying flock of jenday conures are loud; they tend to call out during flight.
Are jenday conures loud?
Like most conures, the Jenday is persistently noisy, with a raucous call that can disturb those with more sensitive hearing. It's moderately loud, and shouldn't disturb neighbors.
Are jenday conures cuddly?
On the flip side, Jendays are cuddly, and you will be more than happy to bond with one if you have the time. I mean, it can stay cuddled up to your shoulder all day if you get close enough. Sometimes, however, they hit hormonal stages that make them territorial and aggressive to anyone, even their owners.
