What is the easiest floor leveler to use?
Self leveling floor compound is much easier to use because it does not require tooling when installed as underlayment and only minor tooling when it is the finished floor. This material is also commonly called self leveling concrete and self leveling underlayment.
How thick should self leveling compound be?
The minimum thickness advised for many levelling compounds is only 2 or 3 millimetres (some require a minimum of 5mm). And whilst even a millimetre less than the prescribed minimum might not seem that significant, it can cause problems.
