John Cena confirms WWE retirement after SummerSlam defeat against Roman Reigns.

Is John Cena still on WWE?

John Cena is officially back in the WWE, and it's for longer than fans may have expected. The wrestling legend-turned-actor is in the midst of a Summer of Cena touring schedule, which is presently set to climax at SummerSlam 2021, where he will square off against Universal Champion Roman Reigns.

Why did Cena retire?

The 16-time world champion has acted in movies like Bumblebee, Trainwreck, and more recently, F9: The Fast Saga. Cena left WWE to concentrate on establishing himself as a major Hollywood star, and the money involved in these mega Hollywood projects doesn't allow him to take the chance of wrestling and risking injury.
