A standard bar chart should have gaps between bars that are slightly narrower than the bars. The exceptions to this are the exception of histograms and clustered bar charts.
How do you show the gap in a bar chart?
GAPS AND CLUSTERS
- Click on the Bars/Series button in the Edit Chart Toolbar.
- Click on the Bars and Series Task Pane and click the Bars tab, Options subtab, and you can type in a value in a value to define as your bar gap.
- Enter a value to change your gap width from the automatic default width.
In which graph there is no gap between the bars?
