Do Tracker Jackers Exist?

Tracker Jackers are a wasp like mutation who's venom can cause sickness, hallucinations, madness, and sometimes death. These creatures are significantly larger than average wasps and have a distict gold body.

Where can tracker jackers be found?

Tracker jackers are genetically engineered wasps, conceived and created in the Capitol. They are genetically coded to attack anyone or anything that disturbs their nest. Once they make a person their target, they will follow him or her far away from their nest, unlike natural vespids.

Why are the tracker jackers subdued?

A single tracker jacker sting can swell to the size of a plum and cause hallucinations—several stings can kill a person. The tracker jackers also track down those who have disturbed their nest—hence the name tracker jacker. The smoke from the fire seems to have subdued them for now.
