Where is Wanoga?
Wanoga Sno-Park is located about 15 miles west of Bend on Cascade Lakes Highway. You’ll find a large parking lot with a warming shelter that’s wired for electricity and a restroom (vault toilet), however, there is no water. A Sno-Park permit is required November 1st through April 30.
Where can I buy sno-park passes Bend Oregon?
Permits may be purchased online or by mail from State Parks Winter Recreation Program headquarters only. Permits must be bought in person from all other vendors. Permits are non-refundable.

The one in government camp across from the Timberline Road allows overnight parking, or at least, I’ve left my car there for a couple of days without any problem. People have gotton towed parking overnight at Meadows.

The Summit Apartments (aka “the Scummits”) are the ski bum ghetto come April and go for $450 a month with space for two, but you can also sleep in your car to your heart’s content in the Timberline parking lot.

It is mostly level for the entire length. The Trillium Lake Trail goes around Trillium Lake and through Trillium Lake Campground.
