You need to go back to your Microblading clinic 30-60 days after your first appointment for a touch-up. This is because everyone’s skin absorbs pigment differently, and your brow strokes will need some perfecting!

You know if your artist went the right depth because you will hear a characteristic “tearing” sound in the skin. There will also be SOME pain (but not a lot). If this happens to you, you will know it because the pigment will come out as your scabs start to come off and all of the pigment will be gone within 2 weeks.

You may want to get your brows touched up between 6-12 months to keep them looking fresh! By about a year they will mostly be faded. If you have dry to normal skin then your microblading should hold it’s color longer than someone with oily skin.
