yes, you can use any bissill green carpet cleaners in the machine. You can use any cleaning solution you want, which is my favorite feature about this cleaner. Personally, I either use the Bissell cleaner (diluted in water per instructions on bottle) or a 50/50 vinegar & hot water solution.
Can you just use water in little green machine?
Can you use this on upholstery with just water–no chemicals? Answer: It sure can Rene, just fill the clean tank all the way with water and do not add formula. This is great for water rinses but you will lose cleaning power when not using BISSELL formula.
