Tagboard Defined
Tagboard is a lightweight cardboard that comes in many sizes, styles and colors. It is thinner than true poster board and is made from virgin wood pulp. It is not acid-free, so it should not be used for projects that involve keepsakes or photos. It has a smooth surface and can be written on easily.
What does a tagboard do?
The Tagboard interface compiles all social media posts containing that hashtag into a preview, and allows you to select which content you want to publicly feature. You can also manually add content that doesn’t include this specific hashtag by entering the URL of any social media post.
Is Oak tag the same as poster board?
Oaktag is not posterboard. They are two very different kinds of cardboard. Oaktag is easier to cut than posterboard, especailly if you are cutting curves. It is not as thick and is single ply.
How big is a piece of tag board?
Weight basis numbers vary with the type of paper because the weight is supposed to be that of 500 standard size sheets and the standard sheet size for tagboard is 24″×36″, where the standard sheet size for bond/typing paper is 17″×22″.
