Page 1. 114. Description. The Situation Report (sitrep) serves as a status update for the college and external agencies involved in the response to an incident. Sitreps are prepared by the Planning Section in coordination with the Operations Section and approved by the EOC Leader.

A SPOTREP, is used to report timely intelligence or status regarding events that could have an immediate and significant effect on current and future operations. This is the initial means for reporting troops in contact and event information.
