Where is the getaway house Chicago located?
Nestled in Grand Junction, MI, our Outpost is near the beachside town of South Haven along the shores of Lake Michigan. Our tiny cabins are designed to suit all kinds of travelers, from couples to families to pups.
Are getaway cabins safe?
All of our cabins are kept secure with a lock code instead of a key. This lock code is only provided to you, ensuring that both you and your belongings are kept safe and secure inside your cabin. Every cabin comes with a cellphone lockbox so guests can experience the relief of true disconnection.
What mattress does getaway house use?
“The window is our equivalent of a television screen one finds in hotel rooms.” The cabins’ 10-inch Zinus Memory Foam mattresses provide a comfortable night’s sleep. Since the cabins are designed with spontaneous getaways in mind, all the essentials, aside from toiletries, are provided.
Do getaway cabins have AC?
Q: Is there heat and air conditioning in the cabins? A: Yes, our cabins are heated in the winter and equipped with air conditioners in the warmer months. Q: Who are the cabins named after? A: All of our cabins are lovingly named after the grandparents of our team members and guests.

Getaway offers the experience of a tiny home in nature as an escape from the burdens of modern life. Cabins are designed with wood, glass and some metal, but forgo plastics and composites. The company suggests guests unplug from all modes of technology so they can unwind.
Where is the Boston getaway house?
We stayed at the Boston location, which is technically in Epson, New Hampshire. It was an easy and beautiful 2 hour drive from our house on the South Shore. I’m so excited to write this blog post, and I hope my enthusiasm comes through in my video review.
Where is getaway house Atlanta?
Getaway House Atlanta is located on 57 acres of the Chattahoochee National Forest, and has a short nature trail on site. You can also hike around the property for a short journey. For longer hikes, there are several trails close by as the property is near the Appalachian Trail.

Who started getaway house?
Getaway’s founder, Jon Staff, grew up in rural Minnesota with most of his childhood spent outdoors. On the heels of a demanding startup job, Jon found himself burned out and longing for the role nature played in his youth. He quit and left the city behind in a 26′ Airstream trailer to take time to reflect.
Is getaway profitable?
But Getaway is grossing more than $1 million a year, and the guys are cash-flow positive. Last year, they persuaded a venture capital fund specializing in quality-of-life companies called L Catterton to plow $15 million into the Davis & Staff idea of how to tune out the noise and lower your blood pressure.
