Kerlix™ bandage rolls provide fast-wicking action, superior aeration, and excellent absorbency. They are made of prewashed, fluff-dried 100% woven gauze with unique crinkle-weave pattern for loft and bulk to cushion and protect wound areas. Finished edges on the product reduce loose ends and lint.

What is Kerlix for?

Kerlix® AMD™ Antimicrobial Super Sponge is intended for OTC use. It is used as a primary dressing for exuding wounds, burns, as a cover for surgical wounds and to secure and prevent movement of primary dressings.

Is Kerlix a conforming bandage?

Conforming Stretch Gauze rayon/poly knitted stretch gauze bandage provides slight compression to the site while securely holding to any body contour. Kerlix® Roll is a pre-washed, fluff-dried 100% woven gauze dressing with a unique crinkle-weave pattern for loft and bulk to cushion and protect wound areas.

What is Vaseline gauze?

Vaseline® Petrolatum Gauze is a sterile, occlusive dressing consisting of fine-mesh, absorbent gauze impregnated with approximately three times its weight of white petrolatum.

What is Aquacel dressing used for?

Aquacel is designed for use in moderate to heavily exuding wounds as it absorbs exudate directly into its fibres. It has been shown to be effective in pressure sores, leg ulcers and surgical wounds, producing warm, moist, local wound conditions for optimum wound healing.

Does Curlex have grass seed in it?

They are weed seed free. Curlex blankets are available with a variety of environmentally sensitive and/or stronger netting types to match job site requirements. We offer a green color-coded plastic netting for applications requiring UV resistance strength and longevity.

Is Curlex biodegradable?

These fibrous blankets help promote ideal growing conditions for grass seed, while also protecting the topsoil from wind and water erosion. Typical applications include highway embankments, ditch bottoms and slopes, urban drainage, and much more! This Fibrenet blanket uses 100% biodegradable netting.

How do you remove a straw blanket?

You should remove a straw blanket from new grass after four to five weeks to ensure the grass is at least three inches tall. Mow the grass one to two times, then dethatch or rake it to remove the excess straw mulch. The remaining straw naturally decomposes into the soil.

What is medihoney?

Medihoney is a mixture of two honeys derived from Australia and New Zealand containing glucose oxidase and Leptospermum compounds which contribute to its antibacterial activity. Medihoney™ is licensed for wound care in Australia, Europe and the USA.

Can you cut mepilex?

Mepilex is designed for a wide range of low- to medium-exuding wounds. You can customize Mepilex by cutting it to fit an individual wound or body location. This makes it ideal for difficult-to-dress areas.

What are abdominal pads used for?

Curity® Abdominal Pads feature a soft, non-woven contact layer for comfort. Highly absorbent. Some pads are sealed on all sides to prevent linting. Curity® Abdominal Pads are for use as a primary or secondary dressing for the management of moderate to heavily exuding wounds.

What is a Montgomery tie?

Medfix™ Montgomery Straps are hypoallergenic adhesive straps not made with natural rubber latex used to facilitate frequent dressing changes and help prevent skin trauma. Can be cut to size. Used with packing strips as laces. • Facilitates frequent dressing changes without having to remove the dressing.

What is gauze roll?

Roller gauze is used for dressing wounds, packing wounds, and, in combination with flexible medical tape, improvising bandaids. Our two-inch wide sterile gauze roll is sealed in plastic and, once opened, can be kept clean and dry in 50 ml Snap Top Vials.

What is a wet to dry dressing?

Your health care provider has covered your wound with a wet-to-dry dressing. With this type of dressing, a wet (or moist) gauze dressing is put on your wound and allowed to dry. Wound drainage and dead tissue can be removed when you take off the old dressing.

When should you stop covering a wound?

Leaving a wound uncovered helps it stay dry and helps it heal. If the wound isn’t in an area that will get dirty or be rubbed by clothing, you don’t have to cover it.

Can Xeroform be used to pack a wound?

Xeroform uses include protecting donor sites, lacerations, burns, abrasions, and skin graft sites. Xeroform occlusive gauze strips can be used for compression therapy or to pack wounds, and are appropriate for use with both deep and shallow wounds.

How do you keep gauze from sticking to your wound?

Creams and ointments also help prevent bandages from sticking to the wound. Follow your doctor’s instructions for wound care. Apply a thin layer of antibiotic ointment to a wound to help keep it moist and help reduce the risk of infection.
